A Tale Of Three Thirsty Cities
Beschikt over een zeer verscheiden vrijetijdsaanbod met bars, een restaurant, het grootste spelaanbod in België met meer dan 500 slotmachines, live speeltafels, een rooftop gaming terrace en een grote pokerzaal, waar jaarlijks het World Poker Tournament plaatsvindt.
De evenementenzaal heeft een capaciteit van 1.000 personen. In het verleden traden nationale en internationale artiesten er op zoals Prince, Kool & The Gang, The Gibson Brothers, George Benson, Paul Anka, Level 42 …. Ook dit theater heeft nu een tijd stilgelegen.
Promotor MB Presents, bekend van blockbuster producties zoals Harry Potter – The Exhibition, de expo Steve McCurry, Lanterna Magica, Cirque du Soleil, Van Gogh The Immersive Experience en The Great Gatsby. Die laatste productie vond in Brussel plaats in en zo leerden de twee entertainmentspecialisten elkaar kennen.

MB Presents was op zoek naar een locatie voor de nieuwste immersieve productie en de ruimte bleek ideaal. Ook het potentieel voor andere soortgelijke producties en cutting edge digitale kunst was meteen duidelijk. En zo ontstond de samenwerking tussen beide partners.
Het theater werd grondig gerenoveerd en aangepast voor de realisatie van Digital Art Theatre. Dit project combineert de expertise van MB Presents op het vlak van immersieve theaterproducties en als entertainmenttempel in het hart van Brussel. Dit is een combinatie die enorm veel potentieel heeft als nieuwe locatie.
De eerste expo in het Digital Art Theatre neemt de bezoeker mee in de wereld van de beroemde Mexicaanse kunstenares Frida Kahlo. Haar leven en vooral haar werk en haar passie komen tot leven in een unieke 360°- beleving. De experience werd gecreëerd door Immersive Art Ltd. Zurich onder het goedkeurend oog van de Banco de México, Trustee in the Trust related to the Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo Museums. De expo wordt in Digital Art Theatre ondersteund door de Mexicaanse ambassade en Stad Brussel.

The themes of the paintings are intertwined with her own, predominantly poignant, life story. Her intimate self-portraits, in which she explores her own identity and experiences, are famous. VIAGE, le centre de divertissement unique à Bruxelles a ouvert ses portes en avril 2010, et depuis, a accueilli dans sa salle de théâtre des artistes internationaux très variés. En 2022, cette salle a été complètement transformée grâce à un nouveau partenariat avec MB Presents, spécialisé dans la production de spectacles et d’expositions. Le premier théâtre immersif digital en Belgique ouvre ses portes le 18 mars 2022 avec une expérience immersive consacrée à la vie et à l’œuvre de Frida Kahlo.

Cette même pandémie a également impacté la société MB Presents, connue pour ses productions à succès telles que Harry Potter – The Exhibition, Star Wars Identities, Cirque du Soleil, Hans Zimmer Live, Van Gogh The Immersive Experience et The Great Gatsby.
Cette dernière production s’est d’ailleurs déroulée pendant deux saisons dans la salle du théâtre du VIAGE. C’est ainsi que les deux spécialistes du divertissement se sont rencontrés.
Le théâtre a été entièrement rénové et adapté pour devenir le premier VIAGE Digital Art Theatre. Ce projet combine l’expertise de MB Presents dans le domaine des productions théâtrales immersives et le VIAGE en tant que temple du divertissement au cœur de Bruxelles.
